Poker Content From Around the Web

I’ve always wanted to have a website which featured some of the better/my favorite poker content from around the internet. I think there is some really great video and written content being produced in the industry but most of it gets lost in the shuffle.      PokerStars, PPA at Center of Legal Online Poker Debate in California by David Huber David has been one of my favorite poker writers for a bit of time now.  I like the way he is able to produce high quality long form pieces of written content. This article gave me a much better perspective of...

Fedor Holz wins the €50,000 High Roller   The young prince Fedor Holz has done it again by taking down the EPT Barcelona €50,000 High Roller tournament for €1,300,300 aka $1,471,485 USD (before any swaps or action sold).     As you can see by Fedor’s tweet, this was his first tournament win as a “recreational” poker player. Daniel Negreanu’s New Podcast

Daniel Negreanu started a podcast last week and the first guest was his friend/poker agent Brian Balsabaugh.   (I will be having Daniel on my own podcast Monday afternoon at 1pm EST. You can find the episode on my YouTube channel.)   I wasn’t sure what to expect going in to the episode but the topics Brian talked about were really fascinating stuff. They discussed how insane it was in the poker boom days with regards to patch deals and sponsorship’s from websites. Brian’s agency were handing out patch deals with people who made final tables for 5 figures and that turned into patch...

The Importance of Poker News type content

I’m not really sure what I am going to call this post…. (Shout out to the Starbucks here at the Rio for having good wifi so I can do things on my computer. I am far more productive in settings like this then I am in my room)   A problem I’ve always had and wished was different was an easier way to keep up with what is happening in the online and live poker world. It seems like most people tend to focus on one part primarily and as a result don’t have much of an idea what is happening in the other. I think the biggest fans of poker are able to keep up with both but for people who are primarily focused on playing poker or people who have limited time to keep up with poker, it can be very challenging. I’ve had a few ideas in the past to try to fix this problem but haven’t been that motivated to make them a reality. Like most ideas I’ve had, I wish I would have done something like this sooner. I’ve always been a big fan of the poker world but as the years have gone by, I’ve not really been able to keep up with what is happening. As hobbies and interests outside of poker grow, I tend to not really be consuming what is...
